Inspirations from Thibaut’s Event
After being solo for many years, one of my favorite things about being back at Surroundings is my collaboration with a fantastic team and meeting other designers. Recently, Surroundings at the River Shops hosted an event with Thibaut textiles to introduce their latest collection to other local designers who are also Thibaut fans.
Thibaut consistently is a favorite of our South Coast clients and for good reason. Thibaut does pretty!
Fresh colors and interesting prints, layered with rich textures, offer many possibilities for window treatments and upholstery. Add to the fact that their Quik Ship Upholstery is now available in 2-3 weeks, and it’s easy to see why this line continues to capture the attention of our clients.
Design is cyclical, and it’s something I like best about what we do. We’ve seen a long cycle of amazing neutrals and luxurious textures in design, but nothing lasts forever, and the return of patterns and colors are sure to resonate with many New Englanders. Thibaut’s collection was a return to patterns, and everyone responded.
