Autumn - a Favorite Season
Frankly, nothing is better to me than the long, sunny days of July… but the spectacular display of color that we see in New England every October helps to ease the pain of the end of summer. It's a visual feast! As an interior designer, it's a reminder that our clients are about to make the transition to indoor entertaining, and Surroundings at the River Shops has everything they need.
If, like me, you haven't been able to pull yourself away from summer fun to think about an interior refresh, it’s great to know that many of our vendors are back to pre-pandemic lead times for upholstery, wood furniture, and flooring. It's not too late to make those changes! A new dining room rug- we've got that. Seating for eight- no problem. Tables, too- unless you're looking for a custom design… but we always say it's worth waiting for the design that's right for you.
